Job description
The Marketing Manager should be a strategic leader who works closely with leadership, sales and solution leads to develop, implement, track and optimize our marketing campaigns across physical and digital channels.
Role Responsibilities
- Develop a marketing strategy based on a core understanding of our industry, business model, customer landscape and competition
- Work closely with business teams to understand product and solution strategy
- Build and deliver short term as well as long term marketing strategy
- Plan and execute physical and digital campaigns including in-person events, digital events, EDMs, social media as well as measure and report effectiveness of all campaigns
- Design, build, and maintain our social media presence
- Create, supervise and deliver content and creatives for campaigns
- Work with vendors such as marketing agencies, designers, consultants to deliver marketing goals
- Plan and execute all web, SEO/SEM, database marketing, email, social media, and advertising campaigns.
- Identify trends and insights, and optimizes spend and performance based on the insights.
- Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies through digital marketing.
- Utilizes strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
- Build and manage digital marketing team including recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
Preferred Background Technical Disciplines
- Bachelors or masters degree in marketing or a related field
- Proven working experience in marketing, preferably in software products, IT consulting and services
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and measurement
- Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
- Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
- Experience with content management platforms
- Experience with design tools
- Sound knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends, SEMRush, etc.)
- Working knowledge of ad serving tools
- Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
- Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
